​About this Workshop:

For the better part of every day, we are communicating to and with others. Whether it’s how you deal with customers, how you manage your staff, the level of attention you give your spouse or children when they are talking to you, it all means something.

This workshop will help participants understand the different methods of communication and negotiation and how to make the most of each of them. These strategies will provide a great benefit for any organisation and it’s employees. They will trickle down throughout the organisation and positively impact everyone involved. This workshop includes individual DiSC TM profiling for each participant and a negotiation simulation.

​Workshop Objectives:

• Understand what communication and negotiation is
• Understand and work with your natural communication style by applying DiSC TM behaviour
• Identify techniques of communication and barriers and how to avoid them
• Develop non-verbal communication skills, including Active and effective listening
• Use appreciative inquiry as a communication tool
• Adeptly negotiate with others and Learn the benefits of Win-Win Negotiating

About the Presenter:

Maree Gooch from Belay Consulting is an experienced and trained facilitator and a successful business coach.

She has owned and operated several small businesses in regional WA for the past 27 years and has much experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Her career has included product development, re-invigorating and coaching of various businesses across Australia.

She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM) and Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD), has an Executive MBA from UWA and a Cert I in Training and Assessment.
