Broome - Dampier Peninsula
With over twenty years of marketing, communications, strategy, design and stakeholder management experience, owner and Managing Director of Harby Studios, Rhianna Harby is a hands-on team leader who excels and thrives on delivering high-quality, technical, and detailed work.
Rhianna established Harby Studios in 2015 and has built the business into what it is today - a successful strategic marketing and communications consultancy with offices in Perth and Broome. Location proving to be no barrier, Harby Studios’ clients are based across metropolitan and regional Australia, as well as overseas. Identifying that strategic marketing and communications need to be proactive in addition to responsive, Rhianna created a nimble team that is intelligent, efficient, and considered. A big believer in taking a broader and more strategic approach to business, Rhianna’s motto is ‘Never guess’. |
She believes that it's imperative that there is data, analytics, and strategy behind everything that Harby Studios delivers. Essentially, this ensures that marketing and communications demonstrate value to clients, is accountable, and delivers better all-round outcomes for all.
Rhianna has also created two additional businesses from the ground up - Leeder House & Co is a coworking space in the heart of Leederville, just 10 minutes from Perth, and sister site Cove Workspace in Broome, which opened in 2022. These two businesses provide modern offices and workspaces for businesses and individuals to work from, meet at and most importantly – be productive - whilst connecting people and businesses to generate introductions and create new opportunities.
Prior to her life as an entrepreneur, Rhianna worked as an independent marketing consultant for a number of government departments and was a brand and trade media manager for major media organisations in Perth. During this time there was a relocation to the North West for more than five years – which to this day is “one of the best things I’ve ever done is live in the regions – it’s grounding, and eye opening. The people, the places, the situations – it’s the experience of a lifetime and I still love it”.
Living in the regions and different locations provided Rhianna with opportunities to gain first-hand experience and an in-depth understanding of varying regional and metropolitan lifestyles, industries, and markets. It also ensured she developed a broad network of industry contacts across the state and country.
Rhianna returned to the North West in 2021 and currently resides in Broome with her husband, two young boys and their two dogs, and has seamlessly slipped back into the North West lifestyle and local communities as an engaging business professional, and passionate volunteer for SAFE (Saving Animals from Euthanasia) Broome and Surf Life Saver for the Broome Surf Life Saving Club.
Rhianna’s success in business truly goes beyond her marketing and communications expertise. At the heart of it, Rhianna is a genuinely caring person, and driven to deliver the best results for her clients.
